They provide social work assessments and intervention for all areas of health including:
- maternity
- community rehabilitation
- child and family
- palliative care
- care of older people.
Social workers help with completing forms and are prepared to support clients in their dealings with other agencies. Social workers are mobile and able to see clients and families at Community Health, in the General Ward and in people’s homes.
