HPA inspires all New Zealanders to live healthier lives. Our work includes leading and delivering innovative and high quality health promotion research, programmes and campaigns.

We are a Crown entity that works with partners including medical professionals, researchers and academic, community groups, public health advocates, Māori and Pacific providers, industry groups and others who are aligned to our goals.

Our staff work across a range of programme areas through research and evaluation, policy and advice, marketing and communication, health education, digital solutions, and strategic relationships. A corporate services team supports this work.
