Mental Health Awareness Week 2020

16 Sep 2020

Mental Health Awareness Week (MHAW) 2020 is 21-27 September and the theme is Reimagine Wellbeing Together – He Tirohanga Anamata.

Whether it’s taking some downtime, soaking up the mauri of the ocean, getting out for a hikoi/walk in the bush, taking notice of the beauty around us or building on the manaakitanga/kindness that’s helped us get through together  – this year we've really tuned into the simple things that matter and reimagined what wellbeing looks like, together.

So, if you're looking for new ways to refuel and recharge, or you have wellbeing tools in your kete/basket to share, we hope you’ll join us in celebrating MHAW.

To get involved, make sure you register for the latest MHAW updates, order free MHAW resources in Te Reo Māori or English (cut-off date is Friday 18 September), download digital resources, get inspired with activity ideas and daily themes inspired by Te Whare Tapa Whā, check out what's going on in your region, and take part in their competitions such as the colouring competition for tamariki or their Wellbeing Photo Challenge.
