The surgical pathology unit provides histology and cytology services for inpatients and outpatients of North Shore and Waitākere hospitals, Elective Surgery Centre and Tōtara Haumaru. They also provide histology services to BreastScreen Waitematā Northland and BreastScreen Auckland Central.
